AOPA is currently heavily involved in the IMC Rating issue, working with the Department for Transport and the CAA. We are engaged in Parliamentary lobbying and have proposed a meeting of all interested parties. AOPA was represented at a CAA chaired 'IMC Working Group' meeting at Oxford Airport last October where serious concerns about future arrangements under EASA were raised with the CAA. An AOPA representative also attended the IMC meeting held on 22 January, a report of which will appear in GA. In the meantime you can log onto the AOPA Members' Forum where you can follow members views on the IMC issue.
